Welcome to Transcript Pro! By accessing or using our website, APIs, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features, such as API limits and history, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and API keys. Any actions taken using your account credentials will be deemed your responsibility.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or exploit our rate limits, credit system, or API authentication.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the underlying code of our website or extension.
• Use our API for malicious scraping that disrupts or degrades the performance of our servers.
• Use the Services to extract or distribute illegal, infringing, or harmful content.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Transcript Pro offers both free and paid subscription plans.

Pricing and Billing

All subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) via our payment processor (Creem/Stripe). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the agreed amount.

Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Due to the nature of digital API products, we generally do not offer refunds for unused credits or partial months, unless required by law.

4. Intellectual Property

Transcript Pro retains all rights, titles, and interests in the Services, including all software, logos, designs, and UI/UX. The transcripts extracted using our tool are the intellectual property of the original creators (e.g., YouTube creators), and Transcript Pro claims no ownership over the extracted text itself.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no guarantees that the Service will be uninterrupted, completely secure, or error-free. We do not guarantee the absolute accuracy of the generated or extracted transcripts, as they rely on third-party sources (e.g., YouTube's auto-generation).

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Transcript Pro and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms of Service (e.g., abusing API keys or attempting to defraud the payment system).

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with standard international business laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
